About Us

Guilderland Girls Softball is an all-volunteer, community-based softball program for girls ages 5 through 18. There are over 300 girls participating in our recreational season. Girls play in an age-appropriate league, are coached by trained and capable parents, and are given every opportunity to learn and grow. Emphasis on sportsmanship, athletic skills, teamwork, enthusiasm, physical fitness, and FUN makes softball a wonderful experience for girls of all ages. The Guilderland Girls Softball League has one of the finest facilities in the Capital District and is conveniently located at Keenholts Park in Guilderland Center.

The season starts in March and ends mid-June. Indoor practices will be held in March/April. Outdoor practices begin in mid-April. Practice dates will vary depending on  space and individual team managers. Games traditionally being  the last week in April through mid-June, with one game during the week  and one game on Saturday. Saturday game times will vary each weekend. Each division provides healthy competition and appropriate skill levels for every girl.
